My Story.

Selina feeds a young boy with a spoon while sitting on the floor in a room with tile flooring and a door in the background.

A traumatic childbirth changed the course of my life dramatically.

After giving birth to my first child, my life changed dramatically. I suffered chronic pain, gained a lot of weight and I developed accessibility needs that I had never had before.

Eventually, I was diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction and a double prolapse. I saw lots of medical specialists, and learned more about the pelvic floor than I ever thought possible!

I eventually underwent major surgery for my conditions.

Women deserve better, don't they?

I became a Women's Pelvic Health & Strength Specialist because I realised I didn't need to "bounce back”. I needed to come back stronger.

I was completely broken from pregnancy.
After a 3 day labour and getting induced, I had 2 prolapses and severe pelvic floor dysfunction.
2 years later, I had corrective surgery which left me in a wheelchair.
I was weaker than ever.
When I got out of hospital after prolapse repair surgery, I couldn't even pick up a cup of tea without feeling pain in my pelvic floor!
I rebuilt my body from the inside out using the techniques I now teach.

40 million women a year have issues that last long after the clinically defined '6 week post postpartum period'.
They then simply accept core weakness, hip pain, back pain and incontinence as a 'normal' part of aging.

Think of your pelvic floor as the 'core of your core'.

If it isn’t functioning, the pressure from lifting or moving has nowhere to go but out (creating a "pooch") or down (causing leaks).

I teach you how to rehabilitate and integrate your pelvic floor into functional movement.

WHAT YOUR LIFE LOOKS LIKE NOW:
- You’re going to the gym twice a week but you still don’t feel strong in your core.
- You’re tired of dealing with constant, annoying back pain.
- You are still leaking when you cough, sneeze or rush somewhere.
- You feel downward pressure in your pelvic floor when carrying heavy groceries.
- You want a body that is stronger at 40+ than it was at 25.

HOW I HELP MUMS REBUILD THEIR BODIES:
1. Pelvic Health First
I’ll teach you to reconnect with your core - that means your breath, your pelvic floor and your hips. Building your foundation so you can lift heavy weights and kids without worry. This is what most trainers skip.

2. The Personal Trainer Secrets
You'll need a gym membership and I'll teach you how to utilise it. You'll get personalised workouts and understand how to move (squat, hinge, lunge) in a way that strengthens your pelvic floor rather than straining it then causing problems when you're older.

3. The Accountability You Need
The women I have worked with that have gotten really, really, really strong because my online methods fit into their hectic lives. My short (10min) self-study, online learning 'snacks' plus group and 1:1 online coaching provide the perfect combination of accountability that you need to make a significant change to your life.
